Is 3rd good enough?

A draw and a loss early in the season has seen Madrid below current La Liga champions Barcelona and their rivals of Atletico Madrid. 

Madrid has not finished behind Athletico Madrid for many years now. Should we start getting worried? I think not fans. If you think about the consistent form of  Ronaldo and the €100 million player Gareth Bale is still to rise to his potential at a Spanish club. 

1st, 2nd or 3rd ?

As the La Liga has reached its 9th week you can see the table starting to separate and it has proven for another year now that Barcelona are going to be hard to crack. But Madrid has still to settle in with the new manager as 'The special one' departed to Chelsea . Ancelotti is still an experianced manager, can impress and put smiles on peoples faces. Athletico Madrid however have had a very good start to this season and the nerves of being 1 point off of the giants Barcelona have yet to kick in. As it would come to the end of the season Athletico would more than likely slip up as the nerves hit them.

Odegaard set to return to real Madrid

 On -loan  Real Madrid   wonderkid  Martin Odegaard   is set to return to the Santiago Bernabeu earlier than initially expected, as per reports in Spain. The Norwegian has been an integral part of  Real Sociedad 's system this year and has thoroughly impressed with his displays. Odegaard's performances tailed off towards the end of the season, but overall, he's had a superb impact on La Real's LaLiga Santander campaign. He has scored four goals and set up a further six from midfield. With Real Madrid eliminated from the UEFA Champions League and the club unlikely to spend hefty transfer fees this summer, a return to his parent club could be on the cards for Odegaard

Ancelotti: We have no special plan for Neymar

The Real Madrid boss believes it is futile to focus on stopping individuals in Saturday's Clasico and admits he is happy to see Barcelona earmarked as favourites Carlo Ancelotti  has ruled out any specific tactical plans to nullify the threat of Neymar in Saturday's Clasico clash between  Barcelona  and  Real Madrid . The Brazilian is poised to make his debut appearance in Spain's most anticipated fixture, but Ancelotti believes it would be futile to focus on a plan to stop the 21-year-old when the  Blaugrana  are blessed with a wide array of attakcing talent. "We cannot think of a plan to rein in Neymar because if there is one for him, we must have others for [Lionel] Messi, Alexis [Sanchez] and [Andres] Iniesta," he told a press conference.
