Real Madrid announce end of Areola's loan deal

  Real Madrid  have officially confirmed the departure of French goalkeeper  Alphonse Areola , who spent the 2019-2020 season in the Spanish capital on a loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain. Real Madrid C. F. confirms it has brought Alphonse Areola’s loan spell to an end. The club would like to thank Areola for his dedication, professionalism and exemplary conduct this season and wishes him the best of luck in this new chapter. Odegaard set to return to real Madrid

 On -loan  Real Madrid   wonderkid  Martin Odegaard   is set to return to the Santiago Bernabeu earlier than initially expected, as per reports in Spain. The Norwegian has been an integral part of  Real Sociedad 's system this year and has thoroughly impressed with his displays. Odegaard's performances tailed off towards the end of the season, but overall, he's had a superb impact on La Real's LaLiga Santander campaign. He has scored four goals and set up a further six from midfield. With Real Madrid eliminated from the UEFA Champions League and the club unlikely to spend hefty transfer fees this summer, a return to his parent club could be on the cards for Odegaard

Indian Super League's Kolkata franchise launched as 'Atletico de Kolkata'

Officials from the Spanish Club were present as the name of the new kid in Indian football was announced in a gala event. The Kolkata franchise of the proposed Indian Super League (ISL) became the first outfit to be unveiled as its name was announced as  'Atletico de Kolkata'  in a press conference held in the home city today. Mr. Miguel Angel Gil Marin, the owner of Atlético de Madrid launched the team brand alongwith the four other co-owners of Atlético de Kolkata viz. Sourav Ganguly, Sanjiv Goenka, Harshavardhan Neotia, and Utsav Parekh. Though the name of the team has been announced, the design of their kit is yet to be decided upon.
