Officials from the Spanish Club were present as the name of the new kid in Indian football was announced in a gala event. The Kolkata franchise of the proposed Indian Super League (ISL) became the first outfit to be unveiled as its name was announced as  'Atletico de Kolkata'  in a press conference held in the home city today. Mr. Miguel Angel Gil Marin, the owner of Atlético de Madrid launched the team brand alongwith the four other co-owners of Atlético de Kolkata viz.
